Adoption services are offered by Sofie Stergianis, a private adoption practitioner, approved by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services. Information and counselling
Assistance with decisions regarding where to adopt from
Homestudies – domestic and international
Homestudy updates and re-applications
Review of child proposals
Guidance re: open adoption relationships – eg, writing a birth
parent profile, preparation for meeting, contracts
Accompanying adopting applicants to meeting with birth parents
PRIDE training
Private and International Adoption Seminar
